Sage's 2 week update with pics!!

I cannot believe my baby girl is 2 weeks old already. She has her second weight check tomorrow. I might finally be getting into the swing of being a mom. It's a tough adjustment, and admittedly, I did have a touch of the baby blues. But I love my daughter more than anything, and I love being a mom.

Feeling a lot better from the c-section, been off pain meds for over a week now. I think having my bypass prior helped me recover much more quickly from the c-section because I have felt the pain of abdominal surgery before.

Sage went on her first big trip to Pennsylvania on Saturday to see all of her daddy's family and friends, everyone loved her and she did great! She is such a good baby, barley ever cries.

I finally got over my fear of hooking her up to the sleep apnea monitor and I am glad I did because we've had 3 days on it and she has not stopped breathing once (thank God).

Yesterday Sage (and daddy) got me a beautiful watch, perfume and chocolate for mommy's day! We had a great day and I am so thankful I get to be Sage's mommy. Her cord fell off yesterday and we gave her her first real bath, and she loved it!!

aw Karen, you made me cry. disregard my pregnancy hormones. But your family is so beautfiul. Your husband looks so happy with his little girl. And you look fabulous!! Sage looks like her mommy. God bless you & your lovely family :)
